  3. CITIES ON THE MAP

  5. Cities on the Map contains detailed information on the 64 Chartered
  6. cities of the United Kingdom and Ireland. Besides information on the 
  7. histories of these cities, and useful information on special events 
  8. and festivals, Cities on the Map contains listings of Museums,
  9. galleries, theatres and cinemas for each city. All you need to plan
  10. your trip.

  12. Windows 95 Users:
  13.  
  14. Windows 95 contains as standard, the software needed to play Video
  15. Clips. On most computers this software is already installed.
  16. If this is not the case you should install the Multi-media 
  17. components which are included on Windows 95. Please refer to the
  18. User Manual for Windows 95. Also in order to listen to the audio 
  19. tracks on the Video Clips, a soundcard needs to be installed in 
  20. your computer.

  22. On earlier Windows 95 systems, this product may show undesirable visual 
  23. irregularities such as strange colors in the control bars or toolbar buttons 
  24. that are not properly redrawn after resizing the window. Most of these issues
  25. can be resolved by updating the comctl32.dll file in your windows directory.

  27. For your convenience, we included a program that performs the update 
  28. automatically. Please find the program '40comupd.exe' in the 'Update' 
  29. directory of your CD-ROM. Start the program and follow the on-screen 
  30. instructions. After successfull installation you will be asked to restart
  31. your computer.
